GFP is an abbreviation for "Green Florescent Protein."   It is the same protein found in jelly fish and fireflies. This protein is inheritable and shows up best under a blue light.  

 

This morph is  hands down one of our favorites!  Lizzy's breeder, " "Kirby" expresses the gene responsible for this marvel!  This morph is reminiscent of the color of neon highlighters! 

 

GFP specimens of any kind really make your aquarium pop!  They are a great icebreaker in college dorm rooms and are the life of the party :).
